Ravindra Jadeja returned to Indian squad in the first One Day International as Yuzvendra Chahal sits out. Earlier, he wasn’t added in the playing eleven for the series but included after Hardik Pandya Pulled out. On Saturday, India rested Yuzvendra Chahal and brought Ravindra Jadeja in the team for first ODI against Australia in Hyderabad. Last month, the left arm spinner was not the part of team during five One Day Internationals against New Zealand.

Hardik Pandiya pulled out of the squad because of sore back. Indian Captain Virat Kholi explained the reasons for the team slections after losing the toss. They are pretty balanced squad thats way gave rest to Chachal so Jadeja can play.  Also the team has the same combination of fast bowler to provide the balance and give the depth in batting. The Indian top order is same as they played against New Zealand.

Moreover, India went for the regular opening pair shikhar Dhawan & Rohit Sharma despite of strong return of KL Rahul with the bat in T20. The middle order comprises of Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni along with Vijay Shankar and Jadeja. Australian all-rounder Ashton Turner is making his debut who has played five t-twenties.
