Finally, Misbah is going to retire from International cricket:

The test captain of Pakistan, Misbah-ul-Haq will walk away from the international cricket after the three international test match tour against the West Indies team. 42 year old, Misbah spoke out at the press conference at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore that this series is going to be his last as an international player.

West Indies tour is going to be the last tour of Pakistani captain. He thinks that Sarfraz Ahmed is leading the team in a brilliant way and he should be the captain of the test team also.

Misbah-ul-Haq’s test career:

Misbah made his debut in Test cricket back in 2001 against New Zealand’s team. From then to now, he played a total of 72 test matches and made many new records to his name. He scored 4951 runs in 126 innings at an average of 45.84. Misbah, commonly known as the calm batsman in the world, scored these runs at 44.48 strike rate. Whenever his team was in danger of collapse, he was there to uphold the team with his batting as well as with his brilliant captaincy skills.

He scored ten centuries and 36 half-centuries that also include 491 4’s and 73’s majestic sixes. 161 not out was his highest individual score. He was the oldest player from Pakistani side who was playing with his full passion in the ground. He was leading his team will his full captaincy skills and proved out to be one of the best test captains of an international side.

Misbah has made many records in the ground, and the best from them is 56 balls century. Usually, he gets known for his slow strike rate, but when it comes to the core needs of the team, he turned out to be the most power hitting batsman in the world.
