Yasir Shah became the Fastest Bowler to take 200 Wickets

In a third and final test match against New Zealand, Leg Spinner Yasir Shah becomes the fastest bowler to take 200 wickets. He breaks 82 years old record of Australian bowler Clarrie Grimmett at Dubai Stadium. In 1936, Clarrie Gramitt made the record against South Africa in Johannesburg. He trapped Will Somerville leg in his 33rd test.

The only highlight for Pakistan; Kane Williamson took New Zealand to 199-4 at tea today, Unbeaten on fifty-four. It gives New Zealand lead of 125. Pakistan hopes for an energetic win, Shaheen Afridi took Ross Taylor at twenty-two. Williamson and Nicholls resisted during their unbroken 193 runs.

Williamson scored 89 in first innings; he completed his well-deserved 12th century hitting 12th four. Yasir Shah has figures of 66-2 and Shaheen Afridi took 2-48. New Zealand face Yasir Shah’s record and his 14 wickets help Pakistan level the series. He took 27 wickets in three tests in Dubai against New Zealand.

Behind former Pakistan Captain Imran Khan, he has the best figures in the test. Imran Khan bagged 14 for 116 against Siri Lanka while Yasir has figure 14 for 184. Yasir had 195 wickets in thirty-two tests before this test series. He grabbed three wickets in the opening day and breaks the record in second innings.

Yasir is the fastest Pakistani cricketer to take fifty wickets in nine tests. He reached hundred in seventeen tests, second to a record of English cricketer George Lohmann. George set the record of sixteen in 1896.
